Mental Health Professional Development Mini-Series Starting March 27
Metaphrasis Language and Cultural Solutions, LLC. is excited to announce our upcoming professional development event – a three part mini-series on Mental Health, presented by Allyse Sturdivant, Ph.D. The goal of this series of workshops is to provide you with an in-depth overview of mental health issues that are commonly seen in various healthcare, community and educational settings.
Whether you work or volunteer in healthcare, non-profit or educational settings, you will find the information presented to be relevant and valuable to your day-to-day work within diverse populations.
The first part of the mini-series will take place on Wednesday, March 27th from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. The workshop, Mental Health Services: Dispelling the Myths & Mysteries, will describe what occurs behind closed doors when mental health services are provided. Evaluations, therapeutic services, and follow-up appointments will be explained, as well as an illustration of the continuity of care from intake through discharge.
These continuing education courses offer valuable CEUs for CHIs and AHIs, as well as CEUs for ATA-Certified translators. Each participant will receive a Certificate of Attendance for 2 contact hours of instruction for each course.
