We only use the most qualified interpreters and translators through a rigorous process including training verification, references, interviews, background checks and proficiency tests.

Do I need a contract to secure services?

No, Metaphrasis is happy to serve clients without a service agreement. Non-contract clients simply pay in advance of the service date.

How do I request an interpreter?

Call our office at 815-464-1423 or submit an inquiry form. A client experience representative will guide you through the process.

What languages does Metaphrasis offer for onsite interpreting?

We provide interpreting in over 35 languages and American Sign Language in the Chicagoland area, with additional languages available for out-of-state events.

What languages do you provide translation services for?

Metaphrasis provides translation services in over 180 languages through a national network of professional translators with subject matter expertise.

What is Video Remote Interpreting (VRI)?

VRI provides one-touch access to professional interpreters via computer, tablet or smartphone, supporting spoken and visual communication for Limited English Proficient and Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing individuals.
