Program Facilitator & Talent Recruiter

Under the general direction of the VP of Operations, the candidate will provide expertise in the recruitment of qualified professional linguist in various regions, coordinate in-house trainings and oversee translation services. The applicant will work closely with the VP of Operations and must be able to coordinate multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, while providing excellent customer service to internal and external clients as well as expertise in language services.

Position Duties:
– Able to provide accurate communications on various training programs to potential candidates in person, on the phone and through the use of social media, marketing materials and networking
– Identify and interview candidates for professional development and trainings
– Identify sources for recruitment of professional linguist and facilitate the recruitment process
– Coordinate and create a professional development calendar by identifying and collaborating with experts within the respective fields
– Execute and coordinate the scheduling of language proficiency assessments
– Project manage translation request
– Identify resources needed to sustain and grow key areas of training and translations
– Process invoicing of projects related to training and translation services
– Facilitate interpreter observations
– Ability to participate and instruct Medical Interpreter Training when needed

Immediate Openings Available for Trained Face to Face Medical and Legal Interpreters 

To qualify, applicants must be located in Illinois. Candidates must be able to provide proof of successful completion of a minimum of 40 hours of medical interpreter training (no exceptions) and/or proof of legal interpreting experience, be at least 18 years of age and be proficient in English and a second language.

The candidate must possess strong linguistic skills, interpreting techniques, culturally aware of the demographic they serve, adheres to interpreter code of conduct and ethical standards. Strong organizational skills and experience with online scheduling portals is a plus. Ability to comprehend and follow procedures is a must.

Qualified individuals must have a flexible schedule, conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times while providing face-to-face interpreter services in various settings. The applicant must possess excellent communication and personal skills, be consistently available during normal business hours from 8 am – 5 pm (M-F) and make a continuous commitment to providing high-quality, professional language services. Interpreting services may also be required before and after business hours, weekends and holidays.
